More about me

A little background ...

My career started at the University of the Witwatersrand, from which I received my BSc in 2006. After completing my community service at Edenvale Hospital, I began specialising in paediatrics at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital – where I ran the Cerebral Palsy Clinic for 5 years while completing my NDT training.

In 2010, I moved to the Netcare Rehabilitation Hospital in Auckland Park where I joined the paediatric team. At the same time, I joined a paediatric practice in Parkview, treating children with a multitude of special needs, syndromes and disabilities. I completed her Masters Degree in paediatrics in 2012 and the MAES therapy course in 2018.

I am passionate about providing chest therapy to children with respiratory problems, in particular where it is related to neurological or chronic respiratory conditions. I have a further special interest in Haemophilia and enjoy working with both adults and children with this condition.
